Dealing With Back Pain

I’ve dealt with consistent back pain after years of sitting at a desk working in an office and have tried many methods to ease my lower back pain. It’s a little bit different for everyone, but there are some methods that really work! One way is to use back stretcher products, especially in combination with heat to help relax any tense muscles. Just a few minutes using a back stretcher daily helped to ease my back pain.

Something else I found useful is soaking in warm water. It’s the same reasoning as using the back stretcher with a heating pad: the warm water provides comfort and alleviates a lot of different types of muscle pain or spasms, and arthritis. The same also goes for dry heat therapy, such as using adhesive back wraps or a heat pack.

Another thing to think about it how you sleep. Yes, even how you sleep can make a difference! Try to use a firm mattress, and try to keep your spine naturally aligned. If on your back, try placing a pillow beneath the knees to reduce stress on the lower back. For those who sleep on their side, place a pillow between the knees to keep the hips balanced. You can even try out a neck pillow. Aside from how you sleep, you should also be conscious of what shoes you wear. You can look online for further information about how to choose a shoe that fits well.

There are other options, but I personally recommend a back stretcher with heat therapy! The combination has done wonders for easing my back pain.
